Looks real familiar - especially the story about Chernobyl.

A few interesting quotes...

"I ended my search for a perfect bike with a big kawasaki ninja, that boasts a mature 147 horse power, some serious bark, is fast as a bullet and comfortable for a long trips."

"I don't count those couple of times when "experts" tried to invent an excuse to give me a shower, because those had a lot more to do with physical biology than biological physics"

"A dose of 500 roentgens within 5 hours is fatal to humans. Interestingly, it takes about 2 1/2 times that dosage to kill a chicken and over 100 times that to kill a cockroach."

" Good girls go to heaven. Bad ones go to hell. And girls on fast bikes go anywhere they want."

Yeah, the old "Ghost Town" hoax story. She was called out on that work of creative fiction. It's a cool story, but she made it up.

Can't find the old Foo thread on it though...

>It's a cool story,

As a work of fiction or fact, it is a fascinating read. And apparently it is mostly fact - the part about the motorcycle ride was not true, but from what I looked up it seems she was actually there and the pictures are real.

The "Museum of Hoaxes" site says "The pictures of Chernobyl, and what it's become, were real. How much does it really matter that she made them more interesting by wrapping them in a tale about a solitary motorcycle ride?"

Agreed. Why people need to nitpik over a motorcycle ride is strange....the whole story is about the Chernobyl disaster, not about a bike.
