But of course they'd still have to have the option of "traditional" electricity cables for PCs/laptops that are NOT part of a network.

Kind of neat....but the Ethernet power doesn't just come by itself. Some where, someone must have a power source to supply the Ethernet power - 120 VAC or battery.

For people who might buy into it then, it's a little self deceptive if they believe it is truly "free".
