DoCoMo phones in UK

Does anyone know if a NTT DoCoMo 900i series phone will work in the UK?or any other phones from DoCoMo.may be on Three network?

The 900i and 901i series phones run on DoCoMo's FOMA network in Japan. This is a 3G network, but to the best of my knowledge it is a proprietary standard limited to Japan. DoCoMo did have an agreement to bring their iMode system to the UK, but I think that ended. Regardless, iMode is more of a business platform rather than a technology.

I personally use the SH900i. It's a great phone, but I haven't been able to get it to work outside Japan. DoCoMo has international use phone plans for its FOMA phones, but they all involve the use of separate handsets. If I were to travel to the UK, DoCoMo would give me a different handset to use...not a 900 Series phone.
