Sadly he has passed.

I really used to enjoy his show and would very often stay up to watch his show when I should have been sleeping.

Gone at 79, very sad day.

I am very suprised that the only place I saw this was the local newspaper site. I have not seen it on Yahoo, CNN, or MSN.

Very sad.

I started with Carson, switched to Dick Cavett, then back to Carson. Hated when he retired. I am sad.

I always liked Carson. Sad day. He had class and a style that many emulate.

Blow in its ear.

>>>He had class

Class is a great way to describe the man.

One of my favorite clips from his show was with the woman who has a collection of potato chips of unique shapes. Anyways, Ed distracts the woman for a second and Carson reaches behind and grabs a chip from a hidden bowl and bites it. The surprised look of the woman who suspects that Carson just ate one of her prized chips, just floors me. You could see after that Carson sorta regrets upsetting the woman afterward. But man it was funny.

I will never forget the episode in which they were discussing epitaphs, and he said his would be:

I'll be Back.

Little did he know his future governor would make millions on it. At any rate, J.C., we're sure you're Carnac now. :-)
