How to increase mouse speed beyond windows max

Hi, I have my mouse speed maxed out and it still feels slow when I have to do some repetitive actions that required going back and forth across the screen. Does anyone know how to increase the speed more.

I found this article on microsoft.com

That mentiones editing the registry for HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Mouse. I tried that but did not notice anything.

Has anyone tried new values there and what did you find works?

The fastest way for me to do repetitive tasks, and everything pretty much, is to use the keyboard. It takes a wile to learn many, many commands from different programs. But it is well worth it, and after a wile there are many similarities in the quick keys (some are just logical).

I agree. Unfortunately this one in particular requires mouse action for selecting text (and I can't reposition things any closer).

Get a mouse with a higher DPI.
You'll probably need to get a "gaming" mouse to do it. Razer specializes in high DPI gaming mice.
