It is snowing here on Christmas Eve - in Houston! Cars and houses have a sugary white dusting and it's still snowing! The kids are thrilled, there was enough for snowballs. Amazing.
we don't get much frozen white stuff here, and never at Christmas time, it's a big deal here. Firing up the hot tub now ;)
Merry Christmas!

I remember a Christmas in Houston when I turned the AC all the way up just so I could have a fire in the fireplace and not roast along with the Christmas turkey.
Back in Cincinnati now and its -10 wind chill with ice and snow everywhere!
Merry white Christmas to all!

Growing up in Houston I saw snow, maybe 5 or 6 times. Maybe twice we got to sample my mom's recipe for Snow Ice-Cream. Mmmmmmmmmm, ice cream....
Traffic must be thouroughly snarled there by now. Hopefully most are home to enjoy such a nice rarity.

Just woke up to a white Xmas in West Scotland also. First real snow in 2 years and what a day to have it. :)

>>Snow Ice-Cream
Watch out for the yellow variety.
Just spent two hours driving in snow, if you Texans want more, we can send it down to you from up here in Canada.

Thats quite a record. I recall being at Uni in the early 90's, a Taiwanese woman on the course had never seen snow.
When it snow her reaction was just like a childs, which I suppose was normal but very odd coming from a full grown woman.
