F-Secure [f-secure.com] bulletin.

I couldn't make this up. It's Wi-Fi blocking paint additive! Just mix with your favorite latex paint and treat wall surfaces accordingly!

Not only that, but stain resistant too!

I wish I was the one who had invented and patented it. Someone's going to have a Niche Market Christmas and an IPO NEW Year.

So is glass opaque to radio waves? Good idea, but what do you do for the floors and doors?

I have my router in the corner of my office. Would painting those two walls boost the signal to the rest of the apartment?

"Good idea, but what do you do for the floors and doors? "

It doesn't have to work 100%. Shoot, it doesn't even have to work 20%. Just make them think it works. Average home wireless user would just buy, mix, and paint without asking too many questions.

But good questions about doors. I would guess the additive is only claims to knock down the waves and not completely block them. How would you know? Get all "Turn Up The Volume" and drive around in your jeep triangulating your neighborhood? Hmmmm.... :)

If it is even half-way effective it is sure to be a hit with theaters, concert halls, churches, restaurants, and others that usually complain about cell-phones ringing.

I like recipes that fit on one page and don't require a degree in chemistry. Can't I just wallpaper my house with tinfoil or something?
