Yes, there is a spelling mistake, but I have used it to design an I.S. department card. Most of the rest of the company are engineers. I'll be interested to see if they notice it.

I think the H2O stuff is a red herring. It threw me off. I would ignore it and just focus on the equation.

Congratulations, atadams! I've been thinking about this since the thread started - I thought it was some kind of equation for snow/water, with force/acceleration of snowballs of something... I was going to do some math searching just to find it, at least I've been saved that. ;)

Shouldn't need a Ph D unless standards have slipped. I dropped out of an engineering course in 1970. Undergradute physics should be enough.

I got it pretty quickly. I think most people are trying to look too deep into it. As with anything....the simplest solutions is usually the right one.

Well, I guess I didn't have it. I only had the obvious part. I knew I should've bothered to take physics before I dropped out of college. Abnormal Psych, what did that get me? Certainly not the understanding of smartly done comics.

Yeah, well I took my undergraduate physics in 1989, so it's a wee bit rusty. I looked at this comic and thought, "Ugh. I'm sure it's funny, but I have no time for this anymore."

My degree was in political science (1981), but I did take some physics and chemistry (don't remember much).

I got the e part, but the H2O part threw me off. I thought it something about the rate at which water freezes or becomes snow.
