sentenced last Friday at Brooklyn federal court to five years and three months in prison.
OUCH!
Seems the judge believed that he genuinely thought apricot seeds were a cure for cancer.
But giving false hope and bad medical advice to seriously ill people can get you 30 years (quite rightly) - so he got off lightly in my opinion.
The spamming was a side issue which actually initiated the proceedings, but the 5 years was not for that alone.
