What is the meaning of "indicitative"

It means "serving to indicate"

I agree they must have meant indicative, but how does that turn into indicitative so often?

Something to do with how it became "politically uncorrect" to correct the mispronunciations of kids...so they grew up never knowing the difference..

The English school system did this ( maybe still does?)..witness .."cestifacate"( I'm presuming thats how one would spell this "variant" ) for certificate...or even Ms Sweeney's "haitch's" on CNN..( in all other respects I like the lady's presentation but "haitch" always did make me cringe ..

The best English on CNN is from the non Brits ...

BTW ..anyone know or can hazard a guess ( clean ) why Becky Anderson jitters about so much ...?

Don't think so.. I'm older than you and I can remember it happening when I was at school ( one of those "Harry Potter" type places where everyone was dressed as fruitbats ..and some were both..) ...built agile minds and bodies ..so they said .
