Just Purchased A New Gizmo For My Guitar

ok, not the gizmo quiz, but style points if you know what it is

It's foot operated, adds and subtracts treble, makes my guitar cry like a baby and me sound like Jimi.

Well ok so I don't sound like Jimi - but it's cool. I shoulda done this when I was much younger. It brings a :) to my face.

I got one 'o dem, made by JEN, bought it in the late 60s. Don't use it much now though, perhaps I outta dig it out again.

Great place to get advice on silencing the noise that sometimes comes out of guitars and amps....
I silenced my '73 Strat, Left it turned up full one day (by accident). When I turned off the 'puter there was an almighty ˇˇKERPLUNK! as the power outed. Scared the living daylights outta me! Guitar is so quiet it's hard to tell what volume level is set, no background noise at all (Fenders are famous for the hissy noises). The improvement in sound is amazing, allowing all those subtle harmonics to sound through without a background slush! Much richer feedback too.
Don't know if the neighbours are impressed about it though ;)

PS.just had a guy walk in wants his geetaar painted like an "Alien snake"...last one I did was as a piece of anatomy ( so no pics )...it needed to wear a bikini bottom for some gigs ..!

Got one, Sennheiser, $xx,000, only one in Australia I believe. Great machine. Supports one end of a coffee table these days. ;)
