The villian is some sort of evil sorceror who can't be killed because his beating heart is stored inside a crystal ball-like thing. The hero has to distroy the heart before he can kill the bad guy. He has to go through a bunch of obstacles, including a giant hand with spikes on it. The hand is what I remember most! It has a life of its own. When the hero tries to get by, the mechanical hand comes crashing down and tries to squash him. Comically the hand raises back up, extends its index finger and shakes left and right, as if to say,"Naughty-Naughty, that's a no-no". People I have talked to, remember seeing the movie but nobody can remember any names.

You have a time frame on this movie? 50's - 60's or more recent?

Was the film comedic or fantasy sci-fi?

Late 50's! Early 60's! Fantacy, Live action film. I am fairly sure that it was color. Like I said before, it sort of had a "Sinbad the Sailor" LIKE plot. I would almost bet that the hero was played by Kerwin Matthews but I still really don't have any idea.

I have just about all of the Sinbad movies that I ever heard of, with the exception of the one that Douglas Fairbanks did. IT IS NOT THE SEVENTH VOYAGE! The only thing I can tell you is that it is from that time period. (late 50's- early 60's) I even have Jason and the Argonauts, with Dennis Hopper as the bad guy. Thanks for trying though! I'm still hunting. My daughter works for a local movie theater and she said she would try but still to no avail! Help is appreciated!
