Always wanted a tattoo, but never really saw anything that I wanted to wear for the rest of my life, until I ran into Ink and Steel and Dave Morales. So now I'm wearing a stylized rendition of Fraser's "End Of The Trail" on my left arm.

Well worth the 2 hours of needles. :)

It's also known in the fine art world..

as ..

" Mr Bonaparte.. Sir ..y'know that statue we were doing of you ..Triumphant on the Battlefield" ..well it got kinda hot in here yesterday what with the foundry and all and .....um.. well.. er .."

The sentence was never finished as the guillotine was still in use at the time ...

Photo is on the way, I wanted to let the redness vanish before I took pictures. Now it's in the peeling stage. In December, I'm going back to have some more work done. He's working on an interpretation of the Trail of Tears that will work with the "End of the Trail".

Tattoos are cool. 2hrs hey? I'm up to nearly 50 or 60 hours on my left arm. Sore is not the word for it.

My great great grandmother survived the Trail of Tears. Looking forward to seeing the interpretation.
