Problems with DVD-RW drive

Ok, so I upgraded to a 4.8GB Sony DVD-RW drive, but I have a problem. The disks made with the DVD-RW drive are not readable in other cd-rom/CD-RW drives. Any idea on a format that I can use that would allow my other drives to be able to read disks from the DVD-RW drive? I am using Nero for the burning software.

Thanks,

I NEVER had any luck with Nero. I wound up using Burn Dragon Burn....

Haven't had any problems since. And on my now 18 month old machine, BDB is faster than Nero. Not BLAZINGLY fast, but enough to be noticeable.

I sometimes use Stomp RecordNow Max (you can google it), but then I never had real trouble with Nero.

I HAVE a PC. You can get it for pc too, same site I think. This is a piece of software recommended to me by a MS tech support rep.
