Summer Movies: Aliens. Stuff blowing up - Alien vs Predator has been a long time coming, and probably will suck, but I am still excited.

Same feeling here, PatrickDeese. I have "Alien 20 th Anniversary Collection" VHS cassettes home. It's the 4 movies, plus a "making of" cassette called "The Alien Legacy". There are lenghty interviews with Mr. Giger. I am a big fan of HR Giger. This artist is one of the most consistantly disturbing, yet very well balanced person I know of. I have his callendar right on the wall, and a few books from him at home.

I also have 2 predator cassettes, and I truely enjoy watching them over again 2 or 3 times a year.

All critics I heard say the film will suck. I dont care, I am going to watch it as soon it hits the screens around here. I am probably going to enjoy it because I am already sold to it.

I would argue that. I'm looking at his house right now (yep, that's the view from my window @ work) and all the windows are taped in black so no daylight can come in. Not sure if this qualifies a person as balanced. :)

Take some telescope, and watch again, you will notice some pinholes in the black tape.
Patterns seems familiar from some galaxy...

I thought Resident Evil was pretty good considering it was based on a video game.
