have just bought a microsoft natural multimedia keyboard,

and it feels weird but i'm already beginning to like it quite a bit, i know these things have been around a while but i've only had regular ones before.

if you don't know what i'm talking about, its basically a keyboard with the keys angled in 2 blocks facing towards each hand.

isn't it great to be so easily pleased - £50 in the uk in this case!

Ooof! I've played with those. I must be too old to adapt, or something, because I know 90% of people who use them, swear by them.

I just swear at them. Nothing's in the right place.

Mind, I shoved my ergonomic-ultrapedic-really-expensive office chair thingymabob into a corner, took out a 30 year old overstuffed rocking chair and attached casters to it, so I can wheel around in my ergonomically un-correct rocker to my heart's content.

I tried one of those keyboards once when I was learning to type and I must say, it was very good. It was at the only free terminal because everyone else was scared of it!

I would definitely get one of these in the future if I was ever in the market for a new keyboard. However at home I have a laptop, and I guess it would be rather difficult to fit a laptop with one of those keyboards ;)

I was forced into it a few years ago with a new job. I hated them at first, since I was a quick typist and all of a sudden I was slowed down.

It took about a week, and after that, regular keyboards began to feel unnatural and uncomfortable. I can still type fast on both, but the 'natural' style really is a more comfortable hand position.

I wish it were an option on the wireless logitech keyboards I prefer for personal use.

I keep looking for a wrist rest that will work with these - has anyone found an angular rest? I hate those plastic shields that come with them, want a nice foam or rubber one instead.

If I can't find one soon, might just have to invent it and see if it sells :)

We have a silicone pad that sits right on the curved bottom of the natural keyboards. I don't know where we got it but they do make them.
