Of late my mouse (cable, XP pro) has taken to flickering with manic intensity. Why so? Is there a cure? Cheers, S

Not sure if this is it, but Back Orifice (trojan) causes your mouse to flicker when your screen is being watched.
Have you got a firewall up/scanned for viruses recently? Can't think of what else it could be. :P

My upgraded AVG and a few spyware programs function and I think XP Pro has some protections. But there could always be something that gets by everything. Thanks, S
