There are numerous parts on this that can be adjusted. I believe the main part can move at least 90 degrees

And this machine does require electricity to work properly.

It's a Mark IV Invader Brain Scanner. I had one done in the early 70's but they didn't find anything.

Lawman, I belive that "cymbal" is actually used for prescise adjustment.

It is not specifically designed for photography, but often there are minature cameras involved.

I believe the lights do move on the silver guides (coils)

The power is only for the the lights (all seven of them).

The hoops(guides/coils), are manually adjusted.

I would say more of testing/simulating than examination.

Yes, that is a table in the center. You can also adjust the angle of it. You would set the object you would want to test on it.
