Problems with MSN/hotmail?

Is anyone else having problems with msn/hotmail? I can access every site but that one. I get the log in but nothing else.

Is there a way to retrieve email from that account w/o using their site?

Outlook as an option to setup an Hotmail account.
No need go to the website.
