How to publicise an RSS feed

We have an industry news section on our website that gets updated every day.

So we've created an RSS feed that we want to make public for anyone to use on their site (as it links back to the news items on our site) but don't know how to go about it.

Other than putting a link to our RRS feed on our site WebmasterWorld-style, does anyone have any tips or suggestions?

At the PubCon, Tim from Yahoo said if you create a My Yahoo account, and add your RSS feed to your My Yahoo page, Yahoo will then index it. I don't know if that'll help.

Yeah - it was Tim's talk that got me thinking about RSS again. Thanks.

Found this, if its of interest to anyone else: [webdevtips.com...]

You can also put an addtomyyahoo link on your site which may make it easier for users to make sense of what it is. Sorry for the self promotion but I think it helps.

Tim,

Would you please provide the link we use to do that?

Thanks,

Dan
