Well people, im about to make my way for a new Mac Laptop. (I'm not very familiar with the topic).

Minimum 1 ghz, and 512 ram. I'm gonna use the mac, for making websites, music, homework, and surfing. Maybe some gaming.

Anyone got an idear for the right mac?

(Btw, i'm new to webmasterworld, be easy on me :)

I have a lovely 17" Powerbook, 1.33ghz 512ram, 80gig hard drive, 802.11g, bluetooth, Firewire 800&400, usb, ethernet, it burns DVD's is really sexy and my wife made me a cake that looked like it for my birthday! Depending on the size of screen you want.... the iBook will work for a smaller screen, but the 17" is beautiful.

I think Mivox just got a new Mac laptop. She stalks the boards. Maybe she'll pop in and help you out.

Oh, by the way, welcome to Webmaster World. :)

Just about any of their current laptops would be great for everything you describe... I just got a 12" PowerBook yesterday, but the screen is pretty small for someone who wants to do a lot of gaming. A 15 or 17 in. PowerBook would do great, but the 14in. iBook would perform well for less $$.

Also... I got mine from Apple as a refurbished product. Pretty big discount to be had, if they have a refurb model that fits your specs. Just go to the store area of their website, and search for the word "refurbished". :)
