Eid Mubarak to you too Shak

For our English speaking friends Eid basically means festival and Mubarak can be roughly translated as 'blessed'

So blessed festival

even though I don't celebrate it..eid mubarak to all the members at WebmasterWorld! whether or not you celebrate it..

well, if you ask me, mubarak I think means 'congratulations' (I'm quite sure thats what it means in Hindi, so it may mean the same in Urdu.)

What is the difference between Eid, Ramzan and Bakrid?

EID = the name of two Muslim festivals. The more important of these is called Eid Al Fitr and is celebrated to mark the end of Ramadan.

Ramadan = the ninth month of the Muslim year, during which time Muslims have no food or drink during the day.

Bakrid = is basically the festival of Eid Al Adha, which takes place just after Hajj.
