my italian greyhound, gomma, just had a puppy! she is pretty young so one pup is normal at this stage for this breed. 'baci' will make a nice addition to the family--the daddy, pencil, is our IG too.

we are not breeders--we, i say that loosely, just wanted to do it once. now we can get them all fixed soon so this doesn't happen again!

any other pet owners out there?

Congratualtions.

I have a large Belgian Shepherd and a Staffordshire Terrier-X.

Its just doesn't bear thinking about what their pups would look like -good job one of them is 'fixed'.

Thats cool. congrats. Been thinking about getting a greyhound or whipit myself, but don't have to big a yard and I know they like to run run run. I also have two young children and I know they're great with kids. Do greyhounds make great pets?

greyhounds, regular-sized, make very good pets, and they don't need as much exercise as most dogs--they make great couch potatos. there are alot that are up for adoption.

italian greyhounds are notoriously difficult to potty-train. they also break easily, small children and IG's don't mix well. these dogs go up for adoption alot because of their potty habits. great personalities, and good apartment dogs (if you have a litterbox!).

i don't know much about whippets.

I don't need a pet. My brother is enough!
He spreads garbage for all the floor, breaks everything, etc... and he's 21 years old! ;)
Maybe I actually need a pet, some creature to play with, to tell my problems, etc

Greetings,
