After doing the "hard yards" I have developed a site that has now got an established group (~300) of paying customers.

Due to my low-margin high-volume business model, an change in the exchange rate has left me with no option but to slightly increase my prices. I would like to offer my exisiting clients one last chance to secure my services at the current price by informing them via email.

Of course I don't want to be seen as spamming, or leave clients with a negative impression after receiveing the email.

While my TOS and AUP specifically mention that limited promotional material (only from my company) may be sent, they did not specifically tick an "I want to get newsletters" checkbox.

As I have an existing business relationship with my clients, and I have mentioned it in the TOS they agreed to before purchasing originally, I believe sending this is reasonable. Do you agree or dis-agree?

I am happy to provide a removal method for clients.

Any thoughts would be highly appruciated.

I think sending emails to current subscribers of a site is permissible and not seen as spam by most reasonable people.
