IE not clearing cache, history properly

Hi,

I'm using IE 6.0, I went to Tools, Internet Options and cleared my history, cookies and files.

Yet when I go to the browser to type in a URL I got word completion for the previous URL's i've visited!

How can I clear the darn thing?

Have you clicked on "Settings" and then "View Files" to see what's left?

ok I manually deleted ALL the files, there is still auto-completion in when I start typing in a URL.

The dropdown is empty, but if I start typing in a url like www.a then autocompletion starts!

wierd...i hate that.
