I'm curious if any other members are involved with Dean Kamen's F.I.R.S.T. [usfirst.org] Robotics program. If so which teams? Thanks

The homeschool group that we belong to is just getting started on this. We've only had three meetings and don't really have a team yet but should have one by next school year.

I doubt my daughter will be very involved since she is only four years old but she does enjoy the meetings. They always have lots of regular Legos and Lincoln Logs, etc. for the younger kids.

I'm trying to get her interested in more things that aren't so sterotypically "girl" stuff.

Good for you. The program is a great learning tool for kids. My son and I did Lego League last year, and we moved up to the high school level this year.
I'm glad you're involving you daughter. My daughter was involved the last three years on high school.
It was one of the best tech programs that is offered for high school students.
