The above is a statement I often use when having a laugh/joke with friends and strangers. 1 webmasterworld member even has it in their profile under occupation.

So anyway, where/what do you want to be doing in a few years, lets be relistic or dream or both.

I'll gladly start the ball rolling:

2010 = working "when" and "if" I want, being able to go where and when I want without any financial or emotional worries.

Realistically - consultant

Dream-istically - Traveling the world again with nothing but my backpack (which is currently gathering dust in the closet) and maybe my kids and their backpacks. :P

I will be living off my patents from my domestic thermonuclear fusor for people wishing to produce their own fuel for their flying cars.

I just can't mix the proper nitromethane/hydrogen blend, yet, and mom grounded my flying car. :(

2010?

There is a very realistic possibility that I will be dead, but if I still live I will at long last have unfolded some of those abilities that for much too long time were left almost completely unused. (No, I'm not going into specifics. ;) )

I strongly doubt that I will use the Internet. I doubt that the Internet will still exist. I never for one moment seriously considered the possibility that the Internet would exist for more than a few years.

working "when" and "if" I want

Sounds pretty good to me... 2010: for me that translates into diversification. Then I can spend more time writing, with some consulting - "when" and "if" it suits me.
