On this forum we have a cross section of the best techies, programmers, SE spammers (:)) and general Internet guys in the world. Since we're ALL so fed up with Google "Florida", howsabout we join forces and create the Google that was *supposed* to be - free, for the user, and the only relevant information source on the web?

Not that I would volunteer for this project of course, more of an ideas bloke myself... ah hem! ;)

Still, if Brett has ANY free time left over from his other project - surferresultsworld.com?

Free means "abuse for money" to many people. Sad, but it's what has driven all the search engines to the directions that they have gone.

Wouldn't an internet utopia be grand... ;)

Thanks for your suggestion Sanenet, but I for sure have no free time moderating Google discussions in Foo. It seems that whathever the fooish tone of some threads about Google, they always end up as a place for others to chime in and vent their frustrations.

We will see what we can do when everyone will be happy about google. :)
