My mate rang me this morning told me he was moving address - the first thing I thought was to set up a redirect page for him.

But he was talking about the the real world!

Wouldn't that be handy for getting mail fowarded to your new place ;)

I was thinking how in efficient the real world is - not a question, just a nudge for me to get out of the 'ether' a bit more. IYKWIM ;)

IYKWIM ;)

I had to look it up in my dictionary (I am not a native english speaker).

IYKWIM = "If You Know What I Mean"

;) = sarcastic tone of voice.

I knew that unabridged dictonary would come in handy.

It's serious inefficient. I keep wanting to run google-style searches on the contents of books, and want to copy an paste their contents into computer documents. I have to copy type stuff that's already been typed up once - aaargh!

Tell me about it. When I find myself in a position where I have to make a choice that could have some impact, I actually sometimes think "hey, no problem, I'll just save and we can load again if things go wrong."

And no more than a few hours ago, I switched a cable from one computer to another without looking first to which port that cable was originally connected. So when I realized that, my first thought was to "undo" my last action. :-)))))
