I've put in as second hard drive. The Bios identify it but there is no letter for it in My computer I still only have C drive. If you have any advice I'd apreciate it

make sure the jumpers on the drive are set to the correct position and your OS is running in plug and play mode...

If there's no DOS/Windows partition on the drive, it won't have a drive letter.

If you use win95 or 98 then you need to use a DOS utility called fdisk to create partitions.
If you use windows xp then you can go to: Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Computer Managment -> Storage -> Disk Managment
