So, with all the google madness going on this weekend, who would find it amusing that when you search on google for "search engine", google comes up #4.

I would think that at least for their own industry, they could come up as #1. :)

I confirmed this. In Google's defence, however, they come up #3 if the search term is for multiple "engines".

I wonder if we should be focusing on Dogpile or AltaVista.

Oops, I just noticed that Altavista is only PR5. I guess it's not very popular either. :>)

If you are serching for "search engine" on Google you are most likely not looking for Google :-) So from a user stand point Google sould not come up at all, Google really should filter out their own pages, right?

You don't know the people that shop at my site... Some think Google (or Yahoo) is the internet. I think if they found that result, their brain might implode.
