Remember them? They are from just down my road.

Chorlton spoke in that funny accent because he was supposed to be based on the folk of Chorlton-cum-Hardy, about 6 miles from me (never heard anyone speak like that, though)

Cosgrove Hall, the producers, are based in Chorlton (or at least they were)

I once pitched them for a project and got to see them working.
(Its not as interesting as it sounds, and it didn't sound that interesting to start with)
