I just bought Tetris Worlds for Xbox, you can compete against pros all over the world with the live connection. Think you're good? Bwwahhahhahh.

The Gaming General has determined that Xbox Tetris is hazardous to your health and may inhibit procreation. Tetris Worlds may also cause dirty dishes to accumulate.

I do miss games like Space and prince of persia (and even Doom). We had bought a 286 computer for $1,000 just to play prince of persia. I think it had 20 MB hard disk. I remember booting up the computer and typing in -

C:\ cd prince
C:\prince\ prince [enter]

ah.. those were the days...

Only a couple of weeks ago I installed an Emulator of my old computer.

I used to really like the old text type in Adventures. (I have tried some online version of these and they dont cut the mustard :()

That beat my 16k - took ages before I'd saved up enough for the 48k upgrade!...

I had an emulator for my laptop, 10,000 spectrum games on a dics for a tenner...

best tenner I ever spent!

There was a bit of rivalry between the computers too.

The main two were:-

Commodore 64 and Spectrum

I had an Amstrad CPC - which I still insist was the best of the bunch back then (Had the most colours - 16!)

I used to love some of the games on the old Commodore Vic-20. I used to be really good at the Vic-20 version of GORF.
