The problem seems to have been with the host: WestHost. My one remaining site there has also been down during this period.

Coincidence? Unlikely: I just checked out their Forum and it is full of screaming customers (they regularly purge complaining messages though). It seems the infamous 'upgrade' still lingers....

I moved my critical sites some time ago when the instability became evident. It might be worth Brett looking at alternatives too.

yeah gave me a nasty gut feeling. actually my conscience started biting that it could be because i have been miserly and not become a full member (paid) yet though i have already decided to become one.

anyway the next adsense chq..should c that remedied...hopefully unless some new as yet unidentified expense doesnt crop up and siturb the balance of things :(
