Can you confirm if there is a major outage happening?

Darned if I can connect to any of my sites, or any of my favs from over there either. It's the middle of the night for you folk and I don't want to be making phone calls. All other sites work fine for me.

Anyone awake who can confirm an outage?

Crisis over - seems like my sites were down for about 3 hours (different hosts).

It suddenly struck me though, that if there was a major outage, no-one from NZ would have been able to see my post to answer anyhow. D'oh.

Well, it is Friday I suppose.

Well, there you have the weakness inherent in relying too much on one thing. I used to love blackouts as a kid, and I was actually pretty excited about the recent NYC/NE blackout... until I realized that I couldn't go blog about it until the power came back on. Aw, man... D'oh!
