I don't know why I'm so eager for it to be the weekend... I had Monday off, and took a sick day on Tuesday, but I really can't wait. Possibly because this is the first time the sun's come out in three weeks?

When I first started working, I used to get really excited near quitting time. Like, nervous tremors, I was so excited. I don't think, upon reflection, that I have ever really liked my job...

That was daily, btw, not just Fridays. On Fridays I'd be so excited all afternoon I couldn't get much done.

This has been the longest "short week" (stat holiday on Monday) EVER! I am so ready for the weekend. :)

I agree, sometimes having short week are even worse, It gives you a taste of what you could actually do you had time off.

The traditional English name for Friday is "POETS day" (P*** off early, tomorrow's Saturday)

Friends of mine and I have booked a condo up Big Sky way, David Grisman Quintet is playing Saturday. We dropped a couple bills on Liquor, another couple bills on food. I am so excited to get out of here it hurts.

BTW for those that are not familiar with David Grisman and the DGQ check out the website. Google search Grisman, and "feel lucky".

Amazing blends of Jazz, Bluegrass, Latin, Folk and his own DAWG style.

No fun weekend for me.

I live in central florida and I have a big tropical storm heading my way.

Im just going to hunker down with a can of beer and ride it out.

I seem to work more at the weekend than during the week.......
Humping amps about and stuff........ Yeah, I enjoy playing (and my band are some of the best in their field, lucky tbear) but at 3:00 am, I'd prefer to be in bed or sipping the last beer someplace, than humping heavy guitar/PA amps/speakers.
Roll on monday. LOL

Ugh, 1 hour left. My only goal is to take a nap. After this maybe some working out, drinking, gizmo quiz, and content building. Bring on the weekend.

Also here in Chicago, tonight is the last good night to view Mars (yes the planet), so i may go check it out.

Man, all you guys make me wanna get a rock-bottom jub, jsut so I can appreciate time off again. The problem with beeing your own boss is that you're never off. It's like yourself is the worst possible boss in the world, and I just got hired...

Only 4.5 days left... Where is the 4 day work week when you need it?
