On a recent search, most results came in German, Japanese, Swedish and Russian.
I know it's meant to be the World Wide web, so why not hit me with some Arabic while they're at it?

In fact, can't work out why Japanese pages seem to be favoured, more Korean, Chinese and Hindi pages would make a welcome change.

Maybe the words you were searching for were more common on the pages in those languages you mention. Factor in differences in actual number of pages available, and possible geolocation tailoring and you've pretty much got an explaination.

I just found the same thing - searching for my mobo model number... Guess I'm not the only one out there with this one then ;-)

I figure there are people in Japan who complain about all the enlish pages coming up in their searches too.
