Guess Who Came To Dinner?

at my wife's little Italian restaurant

My wife is co-owner of a little Italian restaurant in our small (very small) city. They have a great reputation for really yummy american Italian dishes. Occassionally, once every other year or so, we get visited by a celebrity.

Several have come but I've long since forgotten who they were though I think one was Alan Alda. Two years ago it was Emerald Lagasse (famous chef) and this past Sunday it was Whoopi Goldberg. Imagine the surprize the staff and patrons felt when she walked in with her agent and body guard. :)

It was actually the waitress' discretion. She's been there a long time and knows how to work the floor so I imagine it was a pretty nice tip. ;)
