Frustrating as it may be to elected officials who have never before encountered any form of commerce they couldn't tax and regulate, the only fruitful role for government here may turn out to be educating consumers about the new risks such online casinos present...

Does anyone get the impression that government officials live life with blinders on? ;)

i hope it will not be as bad as souns since i ma in this kind of work of making all the seo for casinos and i would hate to see people shutting down because of it, especially the ones that have registered their companies with goverment and have proper licensees.

I hope it's an exercise in futility. I live in Las Vegas: I'm allowed to walk a block from my house and throw a twenty into a poker machine at a grocery store, but I'm not allowed to go through a secure server and send my same $20 to an online casino.

As a non-smoker, I would much prefer gambling online.
