What was the most embarrassing thing you have ever done at a work function or formal party?

I used to work in a restaurant and someone asked me to go and fetch a bucket of steam and I walked around asking where I could get this from, I was very young at the time, needless to say I never lived it down

A friend got had with an old one:

Go get some chicken lips from the butchers. He was all over the town trying to find some. Now all new recruits get the same errand. Ranks up there with sending muppets out for:

A long wait
Tartan paint
Glass hammer (they do really exist by the way)
Left handed screw driver
etc etc….

I have done loads of things but I cant remember them due to being under the influence :)

i guess i should answer my own question..lol

i went to a very formal 21st a year ago...a friend and myself had one to many cocktails..and decided to swop skirts...not sure why we wanted to do this but it made sense at the time...anyway the bathroom was occupied so we walked into the nearest room and decided to do it there...the room was dark...anyway we both took off our skirts and as we did this the light came on and about 10 men walked into the room, they just stood there mouths open staring at us...we had walked into the owner of the house's office and he was standing there with a few business colleges. you can imagine what it looked like;)all we wanted to do was change skirts...we didnt explain why we were there..we just smiled and walked out in our underwear...:)

I was trying to send an email to my friend entilted "Directions Di&kface" and explaning the nice drinking and drug details of his visit. By accident I sent it to my boss. Good thing he is cool!
