I'm thinking it's not for real:

The right individual will receipt a competitive compensation package, a copy of Boulder Dash, and a double-sided disk puncher. Please send your resume (Omniwriter or Paperclip III format only) and a short (two line) code sample demonstrating ability to scroll text repeatedly up the screen.

lol :)

Perhaps its got something to do with the re-birth of 64 games? ;)

It is a joke:

Can LOAD"*",8 as well as ,8,1

Anyone can do that. I mean anyone.

Load "*",8,1

was what you typed to load the first file off a floppy disket.

And punter protocol I believe was a compression for modems for downloading files on a modem. I don't think it would be usefull today - as you would max out a C64 using broadband in - well I can't figure it out, but it wouldn't be that long.

transition our applications from a legacy VIC-20 system to a robust and scalable 64K RAM system

There are no legacy VIC-20 Apps. VIC 20 sucks - C64 rules. If you were going to migrate - you should go right to the 128.

VIC20 is to prodigy as C64 is to cable modem

And of course edit_g pointed out another one.

However, I believe Brett would meet all the requirements - so if he decides to no longer run WebmasterWorld - he could have a cushy job :)

I miss using the C64 power supply to cool my feet in the winter - you had to replace that thing every three months it seemed like (and no it wasn't my smelly feet that broke it)
