For what it's worth, a recent posting on a WebmasterWorld.com message board relates the story of a British man who got a speeding ticket while on holiday in the US. He didn't pay, and later received various demands and reminders.

Just hope we don't get an influx of threads titled 'my international traffic fine' and a bunch of confused WebmasterWorlders trying to understand why all these new members seem to be unhappy and wanting to reduce their fine international traffic. :¦
