I spend a lot of time analysing clients' logfiles, the task can be as interesting or as boring as you make it and every day I see a gem, how on earth these people get the results ... good SEO I suppose ;)

A client who sells Antique Porcelein. The logfiles show this search "How much is my pot dog worth?"

And this; "can you find me a job driving forklift trucks?

It makes me wonder what the searchers thing goes on when they click the button, do they think someone picks up their request and begins a personal search?

:) Don't knock it till you tried it.

I used to laugh at these types of 'proper sentence' requests as well... until I got so frustrated trying to track down a method to deal with an Access query that I tried one. Bingo.

Turns out they often work far better than as standard 3 or even four word query.... especially when you start quoting odd bits of the query, eg, 'how much' and 'find a job'.

Although.. if these searchers were more savvy they would change the 'me' and 'my' for 'you' and 'your'.

sorry.. :) I'm gettin all serious on your foo post. Time for coffee..

I love full sentence searches... just quote them!
You will find forum posts where someone asked the same question, then read the answers!

It's therapy!

When I'm frustrated, having a bad moment or just bored (but I don't often get time to be bored :) ) then I pop in here post and get on with my work ... then repeat the cycle.

It's all in a days work!
