Soooo....for any one who remembers it, how are ya doing? If you've lost weight, how did you do it? Anyone else feel the need to shed a few?
My update: I've been on The South Beach Diet for about 2 months, and it has improved my life. I am a complete sugar addict. And this diet has helped me get control of that (I still eat chocolate and drink beer, but I'm not as out of control as I used to be:)
Plus it's helped me lose almost 20 pounds, and I'm almost 2 sizes smaller now. (I've got about 10 more pounds to go) Oh, and I also sleep all the way through the night now. I guess massive amounts of sugar in my system was keeping me awake and I didn't know it!
But it seems they finally started making long sleeves longer in sweaters and things so that "normal people" have oversized sleeve lengths...whereas for tall skinny people, a large long sleeve shirt finally fits in the arms!
lawman did, but ummmm... lawman showed up at Pubcon in Boston and introduced us all to some lady he had with him who looks like a movie star, telling us all that she was his wife.
I am wondering if Mrs._Lawman is a member and reads here.
I did need to lose some weight but lost more than I thought - just need to keep it off with the sensible diet and exercise thing - but there's always room for some chocolate! ;)
See? That is why I have not told anyone any of my important secrets, especially my age. ;)
What's had me losing weight is what I call the "Computer Diet." How it works is that you don't get off the computer long enough to eat what even resembles a decent meal, much less cook one. Unless you're calling in for takeout food, it works like a charm!
It's been pouring rain for two days, violent thunderstorms, flash flood warnings. Someone was killed in NYC yesterday by debris kicked up by the violent winds. We had nearly two inches of rain last night on top of the soaking we'd had all day.
I've come to an important conclusion: God wants me fat. That must be it.
