Woke up this morning in the best mood... even the weather is nice in Dublin today which is rare. Just know this weekend is going to be one of the best…..anyone else got big plans?

Well I'm cold (in New Zealand), and Friday is nearly over. I feel like an early night - must pout the electric blanket on soon.

Yep, Hertfordshire is beautiful, my office is on a farm in 100 acres or so ... days like this feed the creative hunger.

BBQ's are bad taste here, the cows act very strange.

Well, at 3:30 a.m., the dogs are sleeping, the horses are quiet and I'm looking forward to a quiet day. Nights however, are a different matter and party seems to happen around here without much thought. :) Save for food and drink considerations, and who has to cover up the hot tub...

Most popular question around the office towards the end of Fridays is:

"Anything nice planned for the weekend?".

These days my answer is generally along the lines of "yeah, I'll be working on some web stuff".

Askance looks are the usual reaction. Those with less tact have no problem telling me how sad they think I am. Perhaps they're right, but I look forward to weekends now so I can get some 'proper' work done. One day all my days will be just like my weekends :-)

I too have "proper" work to do over the weekend but im gonna try to fit some fun in there somewhere. But im going on holiday in a couple of weeks so I really need to get things under control! ;)

Nearly knocking off time over here, quiet weekend with the wife and kids waiting patiently for the football season to start again.

Man... I have a lot of "proper" work to get done this weekend, too. I don't care if I am sitting at a computer all weekend, as long as I'm not doing it at work. I've been trying to start work on my own projects for weeks now and my progress has been almost nil right along. But I have a new computer, I'm nearly through transferring files from it, and so maybe this weekend I can get myself worked back up to... square one.
Oh well, it'll be better than I've been in weeks. Maybe I'll be able to start making progress in the evenings now...
I just can't believe how much intellect and energy my day job sucks out of me! I haven't got the energy to do anything at all anymore. I have this awesome project all ready to go, my goals are clear and how to get to them is readily apparent, and... I just... haven't started.
So, parties are for silly people. I have more interesting things I need to do. I've done enough partying and all it gets me is hung over and useless.

I've got writters block.
My new Renault Clio isn't ready when it was due on Wednesday.
Got a meeting which don't start til 4 and will bore the h€ll out of me until around 6:30 then I've got to brave the tude for an hour and a half to get home

Damn this cursed friday. Sick as a dog, literally. Can't move out of bed for fear of throwing up on the new carpets.....woe is me. I think a beer will sought it out;-)

You know work is getting the better of you when you are at home logged into work taking toilet brakes every 30min.
