Sorry Shane love to go but I'm in Bangkok.

I've seen Man U. in Manchester and Celtic in Glasgow and Highbury (Arsenals ground for the Americans out there).

Don't imagine there'll be many hard tackles, but a bit of a spectacle (sp) anyway.

Yeah, but I support a real football team - the mighty Aston Villa!

I'm getting quite excited about the prospect of a new season with a decent manager, and motivated players. :)

I saw Manyoo last season at Villa Park, you beat us 1-0, but we nearly managed to hang in there.

Not as fun a match as Villa vs. Birmingham city a few weeks before. Now that was certainly interesting [news.bbc.co.uk]...

:) big time.

Our seats were 30 feet from Sir Alec F.

First time I have watched professional level soccer played by Europeans. The level of play was outstanding (and at times pathetic, the Celtic goalie was nutmeg'd).

Celtic did not fair well at all after the first 25 minutes.

And, 67,000 people in the stadium. Colossal!

Cheers,
Shane
