Am I cracking up?

The July calendar here in this fine forum shows a snow scene ... is the North Pole Google Plex?

It's just Brett remembering that there are some members in the Southern Hemisphere who are freezing their butts off in the middle of winter ;)

actually, New Hampshire's still got snow & is making fresh stuff daily!

Just hiked mt. washington on July 4th, and there were 4 skiers/boarders on what's left of the natural snow on tuckerman's ravine.

And Tenney Mtn. in NH has just installed a snowmaking machine that works in any temp... they will have a small terrain park/snowtubing trail open all summer, even in 95 degree weather.

I posted the news & mt. washington photos on my homepage last night.

I stay in Reno each year and spend time around Tahoe, that really does contrast. Bakinh hot whilst Mt.Rose is snow capped.... during Hot August Nights!

Up here in Montana, it is not uncommon for it to snow a little on the morning of the 4th of July. And about 200 miles down the road you can still ski and snowboard up on Beartooth Pass.

We had quite lot of snow last weekend. Well it was sleet where I am, but more snow on the hills than most people remember seeing.
