who makes the best archival discs?

I'm going to put my VHS videos on DVD. Anyone know who has the best archival DVD+R/+RW media, or know where I can read reviews?

The key is getting the correct media compatible with the system. I use a Philips DVD recorder with a number of different manufacturers disks (Infini and Datawrite are fine) and have had no problem, so far.
The company I use for supplies does have a disclaimer about compatibility and is happy to provide disks in trial packs before investing in a 100+ spindle.

Except for the compatibility issue, are all DVD +RW/+R media pretty much the same insofar as quality?

BTW, which company do you use?
