I'm currently working of an operating system that boots from cd and my hard drive partition tables are corrupt. I am going to be away fixing this but I will return asap.

Once you get your system up and running, you might wanna look into Norton System Works and Internet Security. These tools might be helpful in saving the HD next time.

I'm having hard drive probs too. Hoping to save my data. One computer in the house is not enought. I'm starting to believe that one hard drive isn't enough either.

My next configuration will be one for work, and a second drive for a total image backup.

Well make sure that your next computer has DVD Burner.. it makes backing up HD very easy. I remeber those days when I would be zipping up all the files and still would have like 20 CDs to burn before I can reformat the disk.. but now it is sooooooooooo easy.. just use DVD RW discs and so tooooo much burning.
