You go to login into your site and get a warning "Maximum login attempts exceeded. You now have to pass CAPTCHA"... A little strange but not unexpected, someone tried to brute force their way in. Then your password doesn't work and other things aren't quite looking right. You start to fire up FTP so you can delete config.php with DB credentials and then it dawns on you, this is the local development server because you changed hosts file to test something else. <Doh!>

Kind of like riding a bike and you go off the cliff, then you wake up. I've had that dream more than once when I was in my teens.

I've been having different type of dreams for the past several years.

Usually starts with a pleasant visit to a parts of the world where I lived several decades ago, meet the friends - have a blast, all cool. And then when it is time to comeback home all of a sudden I don't remember how, there are no public transportation, so I start walking. Then I realize that my Cellphone does not work, I can only receive calls but not make them, laptop in my backpack is my only treasure with me left but I cant connect to a Free WiF cause there aren't any. Then my back-pack gets stolen while I am trying to use a pay-phone to call relatives and no one is answering on the other end. And there I am left all along with $10 in my pocket, all along....

The interesting part is that these dreams are all about different places and times. People in them(dreams) are at the Age of what I remember. Me on the other hand - my current age. The base of the dreams is the same: Go visit the happy old time with the same outcome - I am lost, scared, broke and all along....

That is some next level SANDMAN type sh*t.... Blended 27 times and over....

Dreams can be f****** up to put it bluntly and you don't know the half of it unless you wake up in the middle of it. I used to live by the river and it was like my backyard. I'm walking along the river and this alligator pops out of the water, it's chasing me along the river but here is the kicker, it's running on it's back legs like a human. Weirdest thing is the closest alligator in the wild is 1000 miles from where I live. That was another one in my teens, I can remember it vividly to this day.

If I can only figure out how to manage them. Couple of babes in skimpy bikini's serving me rum and cokes in a coconut on the beach would be good starting point. LOL

That would be Hesperosuchus. Or, uhm, something-suchus, I forget.

In dreams, my son is always about five. (He is, in actual point of fact, thirty-seven.)

My recurring nightmare(s) involves bicycles, mountains, dinosaurs, pedaling like heck and running out of breath! (Likely due to sleep apnea.)

And two ex-wives. Less said about that the better.

When dreaming about web stuff, that ain't scary at all. :)
